Bryan Oviedo has claimed that his services have been the subject of interest from clubs in England and Italy this summer.
The Costa Rican international is believed to be open to the prospect of a transfer, having turned down the offer of a new contract from his current team FC Copenhagen.
Having spent two years with his Danish employers, the defender feels that the time is right for him to take on a new challenge.
"This could be my last month in Copenhagen," he told Everadoherrera.com. "I'll have to wait and see what happens before the window closes. I've heard that there has been a lot of interest and I imagine that a move is imminent.
"There has been interest from four clubs from England and Italy, but I can't tell you more right now.
"I've been in negotiations with Copenhagen, but I feel that I've done my bit in Danish football and now I want to test myself on a higher level and in a better division."
Wolverhampton Wanderers were linked with a move for Oviedo over the weekend.
