Joe Edwards signs Yeovil Town extension

Yeovil Town defender Joe Edwards signs a two-year contract extension.

Yeovil Town full-back Joe Edwards has agreed terms on a two-year contract extension, which will keep him at Huish Park until 2015.

The 22-year-old, who came through the ranks at Bristol City, completed a move to Yeovil in January.

Edwards helped the Glovers to win promotion from League One last season.

"I am over the moon to sign the extension," he told Yeovil's official website.

"I am really enjoying my football and looking forward to playing more in the Championship."

Edwards has made 47 appearances for Yeovil, scoring three goals in the process.
