England cricketer Stuart Broad has jokingly promised to keep teammate Joe Root away from Australian bar Walkabout following victory in the third Ashes Test.
The 29-year-old bowler was referring to an incident two years ago, when Australia's David Warner punched Root in Birmingham's Walkabout after the young batsman wore an Aussie wig on his chin.
After England sealed a comfortable eight-wicket win at Edgbaston on Friday to take a 2-1 lead in the Ashes series, Broad tweeted a photo of Root with the caption: "Don't worry people, I'll keep him out the Walkabout tonight...."
The punch-up in 2013 occurred after England's Champions Trophy victory over Australia at Edgbaston.
