Everton goalkeeper Jan Mucha has told a court he was unaware that he was still under a driving ban because he doesn't read his own post.
Magistrates ordered the 30-year-old to complete 250 hours of unpaid work for getting caught while driving disqualified in Wilmslow, Cheshire on February 21.
The Slovakian, who received the ban for accumulating too many penalty points, claimed the club reads his post so he was unaware that he had 19 days left on his ban, according to the Daily Mail.
Mucha moved to the Merseyside club from Polish outfit Legia Warsaw in 2010.
