Everton boss David Moyes is reportedly keen to bring former Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon to Goodison Park.
The 29-year-old has been without a club since leaving the Black Cats in the summer, but the Scot has since been linked with a number of English sides.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Moyes is keen to bring the experienced stopper to the club to provide competition for number one Tim Howard.
Jan Mucha is the current deputy at Everton, but his contract will expire at the end of the season and talks over a new deal have yet to take place.
Gordon joined Sunderland from Hearts in 2007 but has been blighted by injuries in recent seasons.
