Stuart Hooper delighted to sign new Bath deal

Bath captain Stuart Hooper reveals that he is thrilled to have signed a new contract with the club.

Bath captain Stuart Hooper has expressed his delight at signing a new contract with the club.

The 33-year-old lock, who has played 174 times for the team, extended his stay at the Recreation Ground on Tuesday.

With Bath looking to reach the Aviva Premiership playoffs this season, Hooper is eager to help the side push on.

"I'm more eager than ever to carry on the good work that we've started at the club," he told their official website. "We're getting better year on year and I've no doubt we're closer than ever to achieving something great here at Bath."

Hooper joined Bath from Leeds Carnegie in 2008.
