London Wasps have completed the signing of Fabio Staibano from Aironi.
The 29-year-old Italy prop had become a free agent following the disbandment of the former RaboDirect PRO12 side, who had their competition licence revoked on financial grounds.
On his move to Adams Park, Staibano said: "This is an amazing opportunity to play in what I believe is the best league in the world with a fantastic club.
"London Wasps have a strong history of top quality players running through it and I am very much looking forward to the move."
Staibano has been capped 15 times by Italy.
