Saracens too strong for Munster

Chris Ashton scores two tries to lead Saracens to a 33-10 win over Munster in the European Rugby Champions Cup.

Saracens have secured a 33-10 win over Munster in the European Rugby Champions Cup this afternoon, moving them to the top of Pool One.

After a cagey start to the match, Chris Wyles added to an early Owen Farrell penalty for the home side when he forced his way across the line for the opening try.

Chris Ashton extended their lead before the break after Wyles had made a quick run down the wing before passing inside for his teammate.

Denis Hurley tries to give Munster some hope in the second half, avoiding a couple of tackles before diving across the line for the visitors.

Ashton made sure that the comeback was not completed though, evading Simon Zebo before easing across for his second of the afternoon to secure the win.
