Eugenie Bouchard frustrated with concentration lapse despite win

Eugenie Bouchard says that her lapse in concentration while serving for the match is "unacceptable".

Seventh seed Eugenie Bouchard has revealed that she is frustrated with herself, despite progressing to the third round of the Australian Open.

The Canadian eased past Dutch player Kiki Bertens 6-0 6-3, but she has told reporters that she shouldn't have allowed her opponent back into the second set, when she was serving for the match at 5-1 up.

"I lost my focus a bit, that's unacceptable. I'll make sure it won't happen again. I can be hard on myself, I'm a perfectionist," she said.

"It's fun to play here at night, it's a special atmosphere. I'm glad I was finally able to hold my serve- and hold my serve at the end."

Bouchard will next play Caroline Garcia.
