Rafael Nadal has revealed that he is looking forward to playing in slightly milder conditions at the Australian Open, if the forecast stays as predicted.
The Spaniard has struggled with the humidity on court during the early rounds of the competition, especially in his five-set win over Tim Smyczek in round two.
"Seems like the next couple of days will not be very hot," Nadal told reporters. "That's what I saw yesterday in the predictions.
"So after what happened the other day [against Smyczek], for me it is not a negative thing."
The number three seed plays South Africa's Kevin Anderson for a place in the quarter-finals on Sunday.
