France unchanged for Davis Cup final

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gael Monfils, Richard Gasquet and Julien Benneteau will represent France in the final of the Davis Cup.

France captain Arnaud Clement has opted against making any changes to his squad for the Davis Cup final later this month.

There had been suggestions that world number 21 Gilles Simon would come into the four-man selection for the clash with Switzerland, but Clement has decided to stick with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gael Monfils, Richard Gasquet and Julien Benneteau.

That quartet beat defending champions Czech Republic 4-1 last month, so Simon will take up the reserve role.

"For the moment, I had to make a choice. Gilles had really good results this last week, but ultimately you have to make a choice and this is it," Clement told reporters.

The encounter will be played at Lille's Stade Pierre-Mauroy on the weekend commencing November 21.
