Roger Federer has admitted that his third-round clash against Julien Benneteau will be much more difficult than his first two matches at this year's French Open.
The world number three is yet to drop a set at Roland Garros, after following up his 6-2 6-2 6-3 win over Pablo Carreno-Busta with the 6-2 6-1 6-1 demolition of Somdev Devvarman.
Both of Federer's opponents so far have been unseeded qualifiers and the Swiss is well aware that home favourite Benneteau, who is ranked 32nd in the world, will be tougher to overcome.
"I think I'm playing okay," Federer told reporters. "But definitely I think the next match is going to be sort of the big test for me to see exactly where I stand.
"I think I'll know more after the Benneteau match."
Federer will face either Gilles Simon or Sam Querrey if he defeats Benneteau.
