Petra Kvitova has advanced to the fourth round of the French Open after coming through in three sets against unseeded Russian Nina Bratchikova.
The Wimbledon champion made light work of the opening set, taking it 6-2 in just 28 minutes.
Bratchikova, making her debut in Paris this year, responded in the second by breaking early before staying strong on serve to take the set 6-4 and level the match.
The Russian couldn't continue this form in the third and was broken in her first service game of the third, with Czech Kvitova displaying some powerful groundstrokes.
She didn't allow Bratchikova a look-in and sealed the third 6-1 to advance to round 4. She has never progressed further than this in Paris.
Kvitova will take on either Francesca Schiavone or Varvara Lepchenko in the next stage at Roland Garros.
