World number two Novak Djokovic has advanced through to the quarter-finals of the BNP Paribas Open by beating Marin Cilic 1-6 6-2 6-3 at Indian Wells.
The Serbian looked in danger of crashing out after falling a set behind to his opponent, losing the opener 6-1 and hitting just three points in return.
Djokovic hit back in the second set, breaking Cilic twice to level the contest in a time of 38 minutes.
The 26-year-old rallied to open up a 3-0 lead in the deciding set to close in on victory, eventually taking it 6-3 to see off the Croat.
Djokovic will now face Julien Benneteau in the next round, with the Frenchman beating Feliciano Lopez 6-3, 7-6(4) in a straight-sets victory to seal his place in the quarters.
