Second seed Andy Murray has advanced to the semi-finals of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia with a straight-sets win over David Goffin.

Murray actually started slowly as Goffin, the world number 13, broke in the first game, but the Scot then raced clear and won the opener 6-1 with six games in a row.
The second set was much tighter as both players struggled to hold on to their serve, but it was Murray who edged it 7-5 to reach the semi-finals.
Murray will fancy his chances of reaching a second straight clay court final and first in Rome as he faces lucky loser Lucas Pouille in the last four.
Pouille is the first lucky loser in the last four of a Masters event for 12 years after his quarter-final opponent Juan Monaco withdrew through injury.
