Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has claimed a place in the Qatar Open semi-final following a convincing win over Albert Ramos.
The Frenchman stormed to victory in just over an hour as he took the first break of the match in Ramos's first game, which set the tone for the rest of the encounter.
The 26-year-old came through a comfortable first set 6-2, with his Spanish opponent committing a number of errors along the way.
Tsonga's confidence never wavered and the French pro continued to control the match and tie up the quarter-final with a 6-1 win.
Last year's Wimbledon semi-finalist will have to defeat Roger Federer in order to reach the final.
