Novak Djokovic believes that his US Open quarter-final match against fellow Serb Janko Tipsarevic is "great" for the country.
The world number one set up the match with a victory over Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov yesterday evening.
Despite admitting that he is "great friends" with Tipsarevic, 24-year-old Djokovic has revealed that he won't be easing up.
"It's great for our country. [Janko] is one of my great friends outside of tennis and it's not going to be easy to play him," said Djokovic.
"But it's the quarter-finals of a major, I'll come to win."
Tipsarevic reached the final eight with a four-set win over Juan Carlos Ferrero.
