AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate has not been approached by Paris Saint-Germain, according to the player's agent.
The French club have already signed centre-back Thiago Silva and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic from the Italian giants this summer, and recent reports suggested that they could make a swoop for Abate.
However, the right-back's representative has dismissed these reports, claiming that no-one from PSG has made contact with him.
"We haven't spoken to anyone from PSG for the moment," Andrea D'Amico told Sky Sport Italia.
"I've read about the possible move in the newspapers, but I have not been contacted by anybody from the Parisian club.
"The transfer market closes on August 31..."
Abate, 25, was part of Italy's Euro 2012 campaign in which Cesare Prandelli's side reached the final.
