AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has said that his side's 4-0 triumph over Palermo was "essential".
Zlatan Ibrahimovic grabbed a hat-trick in the first half to give the visitors an emphatic three-goal first-half lead, while Thiago Silva added a fourth after the break to seal the game. However, the Milan boss reserved special praise for Robinho, who set up both of Milan's first two goals.
"We started well," he said. "Winning at Palermo was important. I think it is an essential win.
"Ibrahimovic scored three nice goals. Robinho [also] did well. He ran lots, assisted the goals and covered a lot of ground.
"Antonini had trouble with a flexor joint, while Emanuelson turned his ankle but it should not be serious."
Milan remain atop Serie A following the result, while trailing Juventus have one game in hand.
