AC Milan are reportedly considering a January offer for Los Angeles Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Milan have produced an inconsistent start to the new campaign, and it has been suggested that boss Gennaro Gattuso could be fighting to keep his job at San Siro.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Milan legend may look to bring in Ibrahimovic in order to boost the club's chances of earning a place in next season's Champions League.
Ibrahimovic linked up with LA Galaxy earlier this year and netted 22 goals in 27 outings in the MLS, but that campaign has now finished and clubs may look to tie up short-term loans for some of the league's top players.
The report indicates that the 37-year-old is weighing up the possibility of returning to Milan having already enjoyed a successful period with the team.
Ibrahimovic netted 42 goals in 61 outings in Serie A between 2010 and 2012.
