AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani backs Zlatan Ibrahimovic to win the FIFA Ballon d'Or.

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is worthy of the FIFA Ballon d'Or.

Ibrahimovic, 30, has scored 25 goals in 28 appearances for Milan this season, and Galliani has backed the Swede for the prize.

"I would like it so much. To win this award, however, also requires great results from the team. If he wins the Champions League or the World Cup, Zlatan could have this award sooner or later," Galliani told reporters.

Milan face Arsenal in the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie on Tuesday.
