Arsenal have been handed a boost after Kieran Tierney made an appearance in training on Thursday afternoon.
Despite leaving Celtic for the Gunners in August, the defender has been out of contention after undergoing an hernia operation during the summer.
There were suggestions at one stage that the Scotland international would not return to action until after the October international break.
However, the versatile full-back has featured in a session with the rest of the squad, leaving him closer to a first outing for the North London outfit.
Unai Emery will hope to have the 22-year-old available for the back end of a run of seven fixtures over the next three weeks.
