Arsenal stars tweet excitement following Alexis Sanchez arrival

Arsenal stars, including Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey, tweet their excitement after the club announce the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona.

Arsenal's first-team stars have been quick to express their joy at the club's capture of Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona.

The Chile international was confirmed as a Gunners player yesterday in a deal said to be worth around £30m.

The 25-year-old, who was expected to leave the Camp Nou due to Barcelona's pursuit of Luis Suarez, was also linked to Liverpool and Juventus, but Arsene Wenger was able to convince the forward to move to the Emirates.

After the news was announced, Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta, Mesut Ozil and Lukas Podolski took to Twitter to welcome their new teammate.
