Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta has backed summer signing Alexis Sanchez to be a success at the club this season.
The Chilean international forward joined the Gunners from Barcelona last month for a reported fee of £35m.
Following a promising pre-season for Sanchez in an Arsenal shirt, Arteta expects the 25-year-old to impress during the new campaign.
"[Alexis] looks very good. He's got pace, he's got that special technique, his feet are so, so quick. He's a bit cheeky on the pitch, he's got those runs, that movement, he's always on the shoulder of a defender and he wants to score goals," the Spaniard told the club's official website.
"He has the right attitude here - very humble. He's going to do well - I think the fans are very excited and I think they are right because we've signed some player here."
Arsenal play their first match of the 2014-15 Premier League season on Saturday when they host Crystal Palace.
