Jack Wilshere reveals that he is happy with his fitness levels following Arsenal's pre-season tour of Asia.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed that he is happy with his fitness levels following the club's pre-season tour of Asia.

The England international, who has been blighted by injuries during the past two campaigns, helped the Gunners win all four of their matches amid testing weather in the Far East.

"I felt better and better every game," Wilshere told the club's official website. "It's difficult with the conditions.

"You struggle to catch your breath. The performances have got better every game and the opposition have got harder every game, so it's good preparation."

Arsenal get the annual Emirates Cup underway on Saturday when they take on Italian side Napoli.
