Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane had admitted that his side had opportunity to kill off Arsenal before they came back to draw the North London derby.
The Gunners trailed through Kane's first-half effort at the Emirates Stadium, but an equaliser from substitute Kieran Gibbs saw them take a share of the spoils.
"We played very well," Kane told BBC Sport. "Even in the second half we had our chances to kill it off, but if you don't kill top teams off they come back at you.
"There was talk about whether we'd have enough energy and I thought we showed we did."
Tottenham are now fifth in the Premier League table.
