Arsenal's Theo Walcott 'out of both England games' this week

Arsenal forward Theo Walcott reportedly suffers a groin injury that rules him out of both of England's World Cup qualifiers this week.

Arsenal's Theo Walcott is reportedly on his way back to England after suffering an injury that has ruled him out of both of England's World Cup qualifiers this week.

According to The Mirror, Walcott, 24, suffered a groin strain in training with the Three Lions yesterday. He was expected to feature in both tonight's match in San Marino and Tuesday's vital encounter in Montenegro.

He is now a doubt for Arsenal's next Premier League game against Reading on March 30.

England's expected lineup is also without captain Steven Gerrard, although the skipper's omission is believed to be more tactical.
