Arsenal are reportedly confident of winning the race to sign in-demand Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma.
The Mali international continues to impress in the Seagulls' first XI under Graham Potter, starting 31 Premier League games and registering a solitary goal.
Brighton should not be in any danger of relegation, but Bissouma is being tipped to leave either way, and Arsenal have long been linked with a move for the 24-year-old.
According to the Daily Star, the North London club believe that they are at the head of the queue for Bissouma's signature, but Brighton would demand a fee in the region of £30m for the midfielder.
The report adds that Mikel Arteta has identified Bissouma as the ideal partner for Thomas Partey, but they will have to fend off interest from Everton, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur to secure his signature.
Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the former Lille midfielder as they prepare for Georginio Wijnaldum's seemingly inevitable exit.
