Arsenal to complete Lucas Vazquez transfer next week?

A report claims that Lucas Vazquez could become an Arsenal player as early as next week as the Gunners are in advanced talks with Real Madrid.

Arsenal are reportedly in advanced talks with Real Madrid over a deal to bring Lucas Vazquez to the Emirates Stadium as early as next week.

The 28-year-old is not believed to be part of Zinedine Zidane's plans following the arrivals of Luka Jovic and Rodrygo Goes this summer.

Vazquez still has aspirations of breaking back into the Spain national side ahead of Euro 2020 and, according to AS, he wants to join a club where he is guaranteed regular football.

Arsenal opened discussions with Madrid earlier this week and it is rumoured that an agreement is close to being reached.

Los Blancos apparently want £28.7m for Vazquez in an upfront payment and £2.7m in add-ons.

Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked.
