Arsenal could reportedly attempt to sign West Ham United centre-back Issa Diop this summer.
The 23-year-old joined the Hammers from Toulouse in the summer of 2018 and has made 64 appearances for his London club in all competitions, contributing five goals in the process.
Manchester United have previously been linked with a move for the Frenchman, who has started West Ham's last eight Premier League matches.
However, according to The Mirror, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is keen to bring the centre-back to the Emirates Stadium in time for the 2020-21 campaign.
The report claims that the Gunners are confident of signing Diop 'on the cheap' if David Moyes's side fail to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The defender still has more than three years left to run on his contract at the London Stadium.
