Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ahead of a potential transfer during the January transfer window.
During the last 48 hours, Aubameyang has been heavily linked with a switch to the Gunners, rather than a move to the Chinese Super League, and the Gabon international was left out of the club's squad at the weekend due to disciplinary reasons.
Dortmund boss Peter Stoger has insisted that Aubameyang will remain with the Bundesliga giants but according to The Mirror, the attacker has taken a step closer to joining Arsenal.
The Premier League outfit are looking to secure a replacement for the outgoing Alexis Sanchez, and that has led to terms quickly being agreed with Aubameyang.
Dortmund must now decide whether they are willing to part ways with their top goalscorer - who has netted 21 times this season - midway through the campaign.
Arsenal are allegedly prepared to offer Olivier Giroud in part-exchange in order to push through a deal in the coming days.
