Bayern Munich are reportedly in pole position to sign Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez this summer.
The 29-year-old has been an important player for the Spanish champions during the 2020-21 campaign, contributing two goals and seven assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.
Vazquez's contract at the Bernabeu is due to expire at the end of June, though, and it is thought that talks over a possible extension with Los Blancos have stalled.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have both been credited with an interest in the Spain international, who has operated as a right-back on a number of occasions this season.
However, according to AS, Bayern are currently in advanced talks with Vazquez's representatives over a switch to the Allianz Arena.
The report claims that the Spaniard is keen to remain with Zinedine Zidane's side but would be open to joining the German champions if he is unable to agree a new deal at the Bernabeu.
Vazquez has made 237 appearances for Madrid in all competitions.
