The father of Arsenal midfielder Serge Gnabry has seemingly confirmed that his son will join Bayern Munich this summer.
Interest in the 21-year-old has increased following his performances at the Rio Olympics, where he scored six goals as Germany made it all the way to the final.
However, numerous reports in Germany claim that Bayern have won the race for his signature and will pay less than £7m for his services due to his entering the final year of his contract.
Gnabry's father Jean-Hermann Gnabry has reportedly confirmed those rumours, with the deal expected to be completed before Wednesday night's transfer deadline.
"I would have liked it if Serge would have prevailed here at Arsenal, he still has a contract until 2017. But his mind is already thinking about elsewhere," he told SWR.
"Bayern is like Arsenal. Even there he'll have extremely strong competition."
Bayern are expected to send Gnabry out on loan to Werder Bremen in his first season.
