Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has allegedly decided to 'give up' on waiting for an offer from Barcelona.
Soon after the end of last season, Mahrez announced plans to leave Leicester, who insist that he will only be allowed to depart the King Power Stadium if they receive a bid which matches their valuation.
It has been suggested that Mahrez was hoping to move to Camp Nou, but according to Sport, the Catalan outfit have shown no willingness to make an offer.
That has reportedly led to Mahrez turning his attention to Arsenal, who are said to be willing to hand him a four-year contract to move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal are said to be willing to pay £35m for his signature, but Leicester are likely to demand a higher bid for a player who helped them to the Premier League title during the 2015-16 campaign.
Mahrez has netted 35 goals from 138 appearances since signing for the club in 2014.
