Juventus icon Andrea Pirlo has backed "complete player" Aaron Ramsey to succeed in Turin should the Italian champions make a move for the Arsenal midfielder.
Reports in Italy on Friday suggest that the Bianconeri are the frontrunners to sign Ramsey, who will become a free agent at the end of the season.
The Wales international, also linked with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan, is free to speak to foreign clubs from January 1.
Pirlo, who spent four years with Juve towards the end of his playing career, believes that Ramsey would be a good signing for his former club.
"He is a talented player," he told Sky Sport Italia. "He is a complete player who can do pretty much everything. And he scores a lot.
"Ramsey is a great purchase. Juventus are preparing another excellent deal. He is a strong player and could do very well."
Ramsey has featured in 22 matches for Arsenal this season, 12 of those being starts.
