Report: Arsenal enter hunt for Charlton Athletic's Joe Aribo

A report claims that Charlton Athletic midfielder Joe Aribo, due to be out of contract in the summer, is wanted by Premier League giants Arsenal.

Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Charlton Athletic starlet Joe Aribo, according to a report.

The 22-year-old has stood out with six goals in 28 appearances for the League One promotion chasers this season.

Aribo is due to be out of contract at the end of the season, only increasing his appeal to clubs higher up the English Football League.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal are one of the sides keeping tabs on the left-footed midfielder, with only a small compensation fee needed to secure his signature.

Charlton offered Aribo a new deal last year, but it was on reduced terms and the London-born youngster is now expected to move on this summer.
