Santi Cazorla has revealed that Spanish teammate David Silva advised him to join Arsenal.
The 27-year-old has impressed many with his ability to quickly adapt to English football following his move from Malaga in August.
He has now admitted that Manchester City midfielder Silva told him that he would revel in the Premier League.
"I spoke with Silva before I came here and he said I would enjoy everything about the Premier League," Cazorla told The Mirror.
"He's won the title with Manchester City and said I'd enjoy the football and the respect between players, which is different to Spain.
"I'm very much at ease, so I'm glad I came. He gave me an introduction to the adventure of English football."
Cazorla has featured in all six of Arsenal's Premier League games this season, scoring one goal.
