Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for West Bromwich Albion.
After Arsenal signed Sead Kolasinac from Schalke 04, it left Gibbs surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium and he will be allowed to leave for the right fee.
According to the Daily Mail, the Baggies have identified the 27-year-old as a possible signing, but are not keen on meeting Arsenal's asking price of £12m.
So far, the Midlands outfit have made just two first-team signings ahead of the new season and head coach Tony Pulis has funds to spend after their takeover during the last campaign.
However, it appears that the Baggies will not pay what they deem to be over the odds for a player who has spent his career with Arsenal.
Gibbs - who has also attracted interest from Watford - featured on 22 occasions last season, but he was generally regarded as second choice to Nacho Monreal.
