West Ham United have reportedly given Mohamed Diame a deadline of before the end of the transfer window to decide on his contract situation.
The Senegalese midfielder has been stalling on a proposed new deal and the London side have given the former Wigan Athletic man until Thursday, January 24 to resolve the situation, according to Goal.com.
The proposed contract would see Diame's buyout clause raised to £9m in an attempt to detract suitors, amid reports of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur interest.
The 25-year-old returned from a hamstring injury in Wednesday's FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
