Arsenal pair Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud took no part in France training on Wednesday.
Les Bleus team spokesman Philippe Tournon insisted that the Gunners players were being rested, although they did receive treatment from a team physio.
Other Premier League representatives, Mamadou Sakho of Liverpool and Newcastle United's Mathieu Debuchy, returned to the practice field, though, after missing Tuesday's session with knee and thigh problems respectively.
Giroud, who has scored eight international goals in 30 appearances since debuting in 2011, has claimed that he is worthy of a starting spot in the France side for their opening Group E game against Honduras on Sunday, ahead of Real Madrid's Champions League winner Karim Benzema.
Koscielny will be competing with Sakho to partner Benzema's Los Blancos teammate Raphael Varane in defence.
