Emmanuel Riviere: 'This is my best season so far'

AS Monaco striker Emmanuel Riviere says that he is playing the best football of his career as his side prepare to face title hopefuls Paris Saint-Germain.

AS Monaco striker Emmanuel Riviere has said that he is playing the best football of his career as his side prepare to face title hopefuls Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night.

The 23-year-old striker has been in sparkling form for the French club, having already notched nine Ligue 1 goals this campaign.

"Right now I'd say, yes, this is my best season," Riviere told French television media.

"It's the first time I made such a good start, but I'm in a very good team, I play with a lot of good players and we're on a good run.

"I'm also at an age where I know my strengths and weaknesses. I'm just giving it my all and the hard work is paying off."

Monaco are currently in second spot in the Ligue 1 table on 49 points.
