Report: Juventus, AS Monaco among Nicolas Pepe suitors

A report claims that Juventus and AS Monaco both want to sign Angers attacker Nicolas Pepe in the January transfer window.

Juventus and AS Monaco are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Angers attacker Nicolas Pepe.

The 21-year-old, who spent the 2015-16 campaign on loan at Orleans, has scored twice in 16 Ligue 1 appearances for Angers during the current season.

Saint-Etienne, Lyon and Roma have previously been linked with a move for the Ivory Coast international, but according to L'Equipe, it is Juventus and Monaco that lead the race ahead of the January transfer window.

Pepe was born in France to parents of Ivorian descent and received a call-up to the Ivory Coast national team in November, making his debut in a goalless draw with France.
