Aston Villa midfielder Karim El Ahmadi has admitted that the club can't keep relying on striker Christian Benteke to score goals for the club.
Benteke has scored all but one of Villa's five Premier League goals this season, and El Ahmadi has insisted that he and his Villa teammates need to learn to contribute going forward.
The 28-year-old told the Express & Star: "We have to look at it because we can't depend on Christian every game. He scored against Newcastle but we need to as well.
"You have to get into the box more but we have a way of playing and the midfield is not going too far forward, we are like a block. It's hard, but we have to learn."
The Morocco international has failed to score in 28 games for Villa.
