Aston Villa boss Remi Garde eyes "10 victories" for survival

Remi Garde admits that his Aston Villa may need "10 victories" to stand any chance of securing their Premier League status.

Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has conceded that his side may need to record 10 wins between now and the end of the season to have any chance of staying in the Premier League.

Villa have collected just one victory so far this campaign and as a result they find themselves 10 points from safety.

Asked during today's press conference what it will take for his team to survive, Garde replied: "It's hard to say how many points we'll need.

"I think 10 victories. That might not be enough. We must keep working hard."

On Boxing Day Garde's men will play host to West Ham United at Villa Park.
