Torino striker Alessio Cerci says that he was aware that scouts from Atletico Madrid were in attendance for his side's 2-1 win over Genoa on Sunday.

Torino striker Alessio Cerci has revealed that he was aware that scouts from Atletico Madrid were in attendance for his side's 2-1 win over Genoa on Sunday.

The Italian international is widely regarded as one of the most exciting forwards in Serie A, with his performances this season drawing a host of interest from across Europe.

Spanish outfit Atletico have been strongly linked with his services in recent weeks and the player himself has said that he "knew" Atletico had scouts at his match on Sunday.

"I knew that Atletico scouts were in the stands," he told Sky Sports.

Cerci started his professional career at Roma.
