Barcelona have revealed that Ousmane Dembele is facing "three or four weeks" on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury during Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg with Lyon.
Dembele started on the bench at Camp Nou, but was introduced in the 70th minute and scored Barca's fifth in their 5-1 victory, which saw Ernesto Valverde's side ease into the quarter-finals.
The victory has come at a cost, though, with Dembele now facing a period on the treatment table.
"Ousmane Dembele has undergone tests with the FC Barcelona Medical Services on Thursday morning and it has been confirmed that he has torn the femoral biceps muscle in his left hamstring. This means he will be out of action for an expected three or four weeks," read a statement on Barca's official website.
The 21-year-old has found the back of the net on 14 occasions in 35 appearances for his Spanish club during the 2018-19 campaign.
The France international will miss his team's upcoming league games against Real Betis, Espanyol, Villarreal and Atletico Madrid, but could return for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
