Barcelona arrange friendly to boost Luis Suarez fitness

Barcelona will face Barcelona B in an intra-club friendly this week.

Barcelona will face Barcelona B in a friendly this week, with Luis Suarez due to turn out for his new club.

The Uruguayan international is unable to officially compete for Barcelona until the end of October, when his four-month worldwide ban for a biting incident comes to an end.

However, Suarez will get the chance to turn out for the Catalan outfit in an intra-club friendly on Thursday.

It is understood that 14 of Barcelona's first-team squad have remained at the club during the international break.
