Andres Iniesta: 'Luis Suarez too good to flop'

Andres Iniesta says that Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez can only prove a massive success in Catalunya.

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta believes that Luis Suarez is too talented to prove anything but a roaring success at Camp Nou.

The Blaugrana supporters caught a first glimpse of their £75m man in Monday's 6-0 friendly win over Club Leon, replacing Rafinha on 77 minutes.

Suarez arrived in Catalunya after scoring 31 goals for Liverpool last season, and Iniesta says that the 27-year-old's abilities will see him make a seamless transition to life in Spain.

"It is never easy when you come from another club, but I think he will find a very healthy dressing room and I think he will adapt fine, because his talent is above everything else," he told reporters.

Having been issued with a four-month ban for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup, Suarez is not eligible to make his competitive debut until late October.
