Javier Mascherano has insisted that Barcelona are fully focused on winning the Club World Cup later this month.
The Catalan outfit will face Yokohama in their first game of the tournament on December 17, just five days after they have played Real Betis in La Liga.
Despite the tournament being down the list of priorities this season, Mascherano has insisted that his team are not travelling to Japan "for a stroll".
"Whoever thinks Barcelona are going for a stroll in Japan is totally wrong. We're going with the mentality to play two good games and leave as champions," the Argentine told Fox Sports.
"For us, it's a very important tournament because you play it if you win the Champions League. It's the prize that you get for winning that, and that means a lot for us."
Barcelona also won the Club World Cup last season, in addition to La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.
