Robert Fernandez hails Atletico Madrid's Luciano Vietto

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez hints that his team will move for "very good player" Luciano Vietto this summer.

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has branded Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto a "very good player".

On Friday, Fernandez confirmed that the Spanish champions would be signing a new forward this summer, and it is understood that Vietto is at the top of the club's wish-list.

"[Vietto] is very good player, with very good characteristics. He's at a great club [in Atleti]," Fernandez told reporters.

The Argentine forward earned himself a move to Atletico last summer after hitting 20 goals in 48 appearances during an impressive first season in Spanish football with Villarreal.

Vietto only managed three goals for the capital club during the 2015-16 season, however, and it is understood that Atletico would be open to a sale this summer.
